Royal Gorge Bridge
We went down to the Royal Gorge Bridge for my birthday this year. It is located in Canon City, Colorado -- Just south of Colorado Springs. Approximately 2 hours from home. It was a breath taking adventure. In the summer there is more to do there, but we took a tram ride across the gorge. Walked the bridge and drove it. They have an incline rail road that takes you down to the bottom of the gorge and back up. You are standing right next to the river. The Royal Gorge Bridge is the World's highest suspension bridge. It was breezy when we got there, but by early afternoon we were hot. Down by the river it was cold because it is very shady down there. Come visit!

- Coming up on 3 years in Colorado. Is it home? That's a significant question. The flight attendant asked us as we were getting off our flight, if were were connecting and we said no. She then said, "Welcome Home."
